Mubasher: Oman’s MSM 3o index rose at Sunday’s close by 0.36% or 19.86 points to the level of 9,261.02 points.
Trading volume declined to 15.17 million shares from 29.47 million shares exchanged on Thursday, turnover also shrank to OMR 2.85 million from OMR 6.07 million.
The financial sector advanced 0.78% as Al Anwar Holdings, up 4.52%, was the best performer; the stock made the highest activity with a volume of 1.7 million shares exchanged at OMR 314,610. Al Sharqiya Investment also rose by 4.44%.
The industrial sector ascended 0.48%, backed by a growth of 3.45% in Al Hassan Engineering, 3.1% in Al Jazeera Steel Products and 2.13% in Galfar Engineering.
Meanwhile, the services sector dropped 0.04% as Sohar Power led the red list after falling by 2%.
