Mubasher: The benchmark MSM 30 of the Muscat Securities Market grew in Wednesday’s mid trading by 0.37% or 21.28 points to the level of 5,790.64 points.
Trading volume reached 3.55 million shares exchanged at OMR 842,060 through 221 transactions.
The financial and services sectors advanced by 0.28% and 0.23% respectively as Bank Sohar topped gainers by adding 2.27% and Al Izz Islamic Bank leapt by 1.56%, while Oman Investment and Finance and Sembcorp Salalah levelled up 1.03%.
On the other hand, the industrial sector shrank 0.05% as Galfar Engineering was the worst performing stock after falling by 0.95%.
