Mubasher: The benchmark MSM 30 of the Muscat Securities Market grew in Sunday’s mid trading by 0.06% or 3.17 points to the level of 5,780.83 points.
Trading volume reached 2.36 million shares exchanged at OMR 680,700 through 137 transactions.
The rise was mainly due to the increase in Al Jazeira Services, which topped gainers by adding 3.57%, and Ooredoo Oman by 0.55%, driving the services sector to a growth of 0.1%.
Meanwhile, the industrial sector declined 0.13% as Galfar Engineering fell 0.96%. The stock made the biggest trading volume activity with 515,500 shares.
Raysut Cement made the highest liquidity of OMR 214,500.
The financial sector also dropped as Al Anwar Holdings topped losers with a fall of 1.05%.
