Mubasher: The MSM 30 index of the Muscat Securities Market ended Sunday’s session rising by 0.29% or 16.77 points to the level of 5,750.9 points.
Trading volume declined to 16.7 million shares from 19.6 million shares exchanged on Thursday, turnover also shrank to OMR 3.1 million from OMR 5.92 million.
The financial, industrial and services sectors rose collectively by 0.56%, 0.56% and 0.28% respectively.
Oman Fisheries topped gainers with an increase of 4.4%, while Al Jazeera Steel Products, down 0.75%, headed losers.
Omantel made the highest turnover of OMR 500,920, whereas Oman Fisheries was the most active stock in terms of trading volume with 3.85 million shares.
