Mubasher: The MSM 30 index of the Muscat Securities Market declined at Wednesday’s close by 0.29% or 16.48 points to the level of 5,720.77 points.
Trading volume increased to 18.82 million shares from 11.88 million shares exchanged on Tuesday, turnover also rose to OMR 5.53 million from OMR 2.52 million.
The financial sector dropped 0.51%, while the industrial and services sectors rose 0.24% and 0.05% respectively.
Oman Fisheries was the top gainers with a rise of 7.59%, whereas Al Anwar Ceramic led decliners after falling 3.03%.
SMN Power made the highest turnover of OMR 2.5 million, while Oman Fisheries made the biggest trading volume activity with 4.23 million shares.
