Mubasher: the MSM 30 index of the Muscat Securities Market rose at Wednesday’s close by 0.05% or 3.02 points to the level of 5,827.7 points.
Trading volume increased to 24.55 million shares from 14.05 million shares exchanged on Tuesday, turnover also rose to OMR 3.87 million from OMR 2.95 million.
The industrial sector advanced 0.21%, while the services and financial sectors dropped 0.17% and 0.08% respectively.
Al Madina Investment, down 2.86%, was the top loser, while Al Anwar Ceramic topped gainers after adding 2.42%.
