Mubasher: The MSM 30 index of the Muscat Securities Market closed Monday’s session with an increase of 0.33% or 19.15 points to the level of 5,770.06 points.
Trading volume increased to 32.52 million shares from 16.7 million shares exchanged on Sunday, turnover also rose to OMR 5.89 million from OMR 3.1 million.
The financial, industrial and services sectors advanced collectively by 0.73%, 0.46% and 0.18% respectively.
Galfar Engineering topped gainers with a 7.23% rise, while Al Anwar Ceramic led losers with a 2.47% fall.
Phoenix Power was the most active stock with a trading volume of 10.8 million shares exchanged at OMR 1.62 million.
