Mubasher: The Muscat Securities Market’s (MSM) main index, MSM 30, declined 0.05% or 2.66 points to 5,418.55 points in Tuesday’s midday.
Trading volume came to 2.43 million shares worth OMR 853.37 million through 176 trades.
The financial and services sectors moved down by 0.16% and 0.06%, respectively, while the industrial sector rose 0.03%.
Traders exchanged 25 shares in mid-trade, where one was a winner, four settled in negative and 21 stood at the same rates.
Raysut Cement was the best performer after advancing 0.50%, while Oman Investments was the lowest after declining 1.43%.
MSM 30 closed yesterday’s trading at 5,421.20 points after rising 0.15% or 8.32 points.
