Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) opened Thursday’s session on a low note, pressured by blue chip stocks, mainly the National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) and Aldar Properties.
The general index shed 0.33% or 15.15 points to 4,539.91 points by 11 am UAE time.
Turnover reached AED 20 million after 9.18 million shares changed hands through 202 transactions.
The banks sector was down 0.59% after NBAD shed 0.93%, while the real estate sector lost 0.45% after Aldar saw a similar decline.
Earlier on Thursday, analysts told Mubasher that they expected the jittery performance to continue on UAE markets.
