Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) confirmed the news that it will receive $68 million from British Petroleum (BP), according to a bourse statement.
The London High Court ordered the banks to pay the sum in a case related to the surprise closure of Morocco's Samir refinery in August 2015.
The British energy firm sold a cargo of Russian Urals crude to Samir in August 2014 which was not paid for and NBAD took on 95% of that debt.
