Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) opened at a rise on Thursday, spurred by National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) which was the only gainer with a 2.07% growth.
The general index rose 0.05% or 2.2 points to reach 4,343.14 points by 10:35am UAE time.
On the flipside, the consumer staples sector led losers after falling 1.5%, dragged down by Agthia Group.
The telecom sector declined 0.13% due to a decrease in Etisalat.
The real estate sector slid 0.13% as Eshraq Properties levelled down 1.25%.
Turnover stood at AED 4.25 million, with a trading volume of 3.83 million shares traded through 60 transactions.
