Cairo - Mubasher: The deputy chairman of the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) has negated reports of receiving $200 million from the African Export–Import Bank to finance small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
Yehia Aboul Fotouh told Mubasher on Wednesday that the bank is not looking forward to any finances or agreements with the African bank.
It was reported on Sunday that NBE received a three-year $200 million loan from the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank).
