Cairo – Mubasher: The deposits of the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) grew 20.98% during the fiscal year ended 30 June 2016, said Hussein Rifai, chief financial officer and Executive Board member.
The value of the deposits’ portfolio amounted to EGP 542 billion by the end of the fiscal year 2015/16, compared with EGP 448 billion during the comparable period of the previous year.
The Egyptian lender reported an increase of 36% in net profit in the fiscal year ended 30 June 2015 as it reached EGP 5.1 billion.
