Cairo – Mubasher: The National Bank of Egypt (NBE) has got a $200 million loan from the African the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) to fund the small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The three-year facility will be invested in the Egyptian SME sector, Al Shorouk newspaper reported, citing a banking source as saying.
In the fiscal year 2016/2017, Egypt's largest state-owned lender obtained more than $1 billion in loans from international finance institutions.
