NBK-Egypt Q4 profits decline 46%

Cairo – Egypt: The National Bank of Kuwait in Egypt (NBK-Egypt) said Monday that its profits for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2016 rose 45.7% to EGP 189.19 million from EGP 129.85 million for Q4-15.

Net profits for fiscal year 2016 reached EGP 848.9 million, 47.48% up from EGP 545.58 million for FY15.

Foreign exchange earnings amounted to EGP 39.7 million in 2016, according to a bourse statement.

By 12:14pm Cairo time, the stock fell 1.35% to EGP 7.3.
