Mubasher: The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) has denied media reports and rumours circulating on social media platforms that a lawyer has filed a lawsuit in the Egyptian State Council requesting to rescind the sale transaction of the National Bank of Kuwait - Egypt (NBK Egypt).
NBK emphasises that it has not received any judicial or legal statements from authorities in this respect to date, according to a stock exchange statement on Sunday.
The Kuwaiti lender added that it will announce any material developments on the matter in due course.
