Kuwait – Mubasher: The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) achieved a growth of 6.4% in profits during the third quarter of 2016 as compared to the same period in 2015.
Earnings grew to KWD 68.65 million ($226.46 million) in Q3-16 from KWD 64.53 million ($212.87 million) in Q3-15, according to a bourse statement issued Monday.
During the first nine months of 2016, profits decreased 3.8% to KWD 219.26 million as compared to KWD 227.92 million in the same period of 2015.
The decline in the nine-month profits resulted from lower investment revenues.
