Riyadh – Mubasher: NEOM will be the world’s first city to be fully digitized, and the first to offer digital healthcare services, according to Nadhmi Al Nasr, the CEO of NEOM.

NEOM, an ambitious $500 billion megacity project in the northwest of Saudi Arabia, seeks to enhance cybersecurity and digital safety to create a place for safe and peaceful living, Al Nasr said during his speech at the Global Cybersecurity Forum (GCF), held in Riyadh on 4-5 February.

The futuristic city will use modern cybersecurity devices and is working to invest and train thousands of youth, he added, noting that the city will be the land of the future that links various destinations using big data, AI, and IoT.

NEOM is targeting one million inhabitants by 2030, the CEO noted.

It is worth noting that the Global Cybersecurity Forum (GCF), organized by the Saudi National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA), was inaugurated on Tuesday at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Riyadh.

The forum is focusing on five themes, cybersecurity industry, international cyber collaboration, cyberculture, cyber disruption, and cyber threats and resilience.
