Riyadh – Mubasher: National Oil Technology Company has signed a contract with Dhahran Techno Valley Company, a 100% unit of King Fahd University of Petroleum, to establish an international scientific research centre in Saudi Arabia.
National Oil Technology Company is a subsidiary of National Energy Services Reunited Corp (NESR), a national, industry-leading provider of integrated energy services in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), according to an official statement.
“I am confident that NESR will add significant value to Dhahran Techno Valley and the Saudi oil and gas industry with this investment and commitment," Sahel N. Abduljauwad, acting rector of King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dhahran Techno Valley Company, said.
This partnership will be useful for Saudi investment sector, especially for the oil and gas industry, Mohammed Y. Al-Qahtani, Aramco’s senior vice president for upstream, stated.
"This will also be a great opportunity to provide high-end technical opportunities for Saudi engineers and researchers and an important vehicle for partnership between the Saudi academic and industrial sectors," NESR’s CEO and chairman Sherif Foda noted.
