Cairo – Mubasher: Investments contributed by the National Investment Bank (NIB) to companies reached about EGP 25.8 billion at the end of June 2018, up from EGP 14.5 billion during the period ended June 2014, local newspaper Akhbar El-Yom reported, citing Egypt’s minister of planning Hala El-Saeed as saying.
NIB has invested in 11 new companies with capital totalling EGP 4.8 billion in which the bank’s share made up EGP 1.8 billion, El-Saeed added.
Over the last four years, NIB earned capital profits of EGP 11.6 billion, she revealed.
