Mubasher: NMC Health is considering the acquisition of Al Zahra Hospital in Sharjah from Gulf Medical Projects Company (GMPC) for AED 2.058 billion ($560 million).
The acquisition is subject to the approval of NMC Health shareholders, according to a statement.
Al Zahra Hospital will complement the Group’s existing network of seven out-patient medical centres in Sharjah.
The transaction will be funded by placing up to 9.99% of the company’s issued share capital and through new debt facilities.
