NMC records SAR 60m profits in 9M

Riyadh – Mubasher: National Medical Care Company (NMC) disclosed a 45.4% year-on-year increase in its profits for the third quarter of 2019, recording SAR 16.6 million.

Meanwhile, revenues inched down by 1.6% to SAR 173.5 million in Q3-19, compared to SAR 176.3 million in Q3-18, according to the company’s filing to the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) on Thursday.

The company attributed the increase in profits to lower operating costs, in addition to increased gross profit due to lower operating cost.

For the first nine months of 2019, NMC’s net profits advanced by 5.4% to SAR 60.4 million, from SAR 57.3 million in the same period a year ago.

Total revenues registered SAR 522.8 million during the nine-month period between January and September, 10% down from SAR 582.11 million in the same period last year.

By the end of September, profit per share reached SAR 1.35, versus SAR 1.28 in September 2018.
