Cairo – Mubasher: Telecom Egypt has received a note from the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) over 4G services, according to a press release.
The note includes the terms and condition for obtaining the new 4G licenses, giving the company a full opportunity to expand in the Egyptian market.
The company will chew over the terms and condition to obtain the new licenses.
Earlier, Orange Egypt said that obtaining new telecom licenses will cost EGP 5.44 billion ($611 million), according to a bourse filing on Sunday
The Ministry of Finance estimated to raise EGP 2.8 billion through the new licenses in the fiscal year 2015/16.
