The New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) allocated investments worth EGP 10 billion for the New Administrative Capital during fiscal year 2017/2018, raising its total investments to EGP 20 billion.
The NUCA allocated EGP 8 billion for housing and utilities projects in the new capital, equivalent to EGP 4 billion for each, head of the New Administrative Capital Authority Mohamed Abdel Maksoud told Mubasher, adding that EGP 2 million had been added for other projects.
These projects will be finalised during the next two years, he concluded.
