Cairo – Mubasher: The New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) will inject investments worth between EGP 60 billion and EGP 70 billion in the New Administrative Capital during fiscal year 2019/2020, head of the New Administrative Capital Authority Mohamed Abdel Maksoud said.
Investments will be directed to the third residential (R3) district and New Garden City in the fifth residential (R5) district as well as public utilities of the first phase of the new capital, Abdel Maksoud told Mubasher.
In addition, investments are also planned to be directed to the new capital’s central business district and central park ‘Green River’, he added.
With an area of nearly 170,000 acres, the New Administrative Capital aims to accommodate 6.5 million people.
