Riyadh-Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s National Water Co. (NWC) will spend nearly SAR 1.4 billion ($0.37 billion) on 33 infrastructure projects in Taif.
Abdullah Hassanein, director of business unit of water in Makkah and Taif, said the company built several water tanks with a production capacity of 175,000 cubic metres, at a total cost of more than SAR 219 million.
Mohammed Al-Omari, senior manager of assets and projects at NWC's Makkah and Taif business unit, said the company carried out five main projects at a total cost of SAR 387 million, and 10 network projects at a cost exceeding SAR 275 million.
Al-Omari also said NWC implemented two sewage projects worth over SAR 258 million as well as network and sewage connection projects at a cost of over SAR 127 million.
