Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Nakheel has awarded AED 4 million ($1.1 million) contract to Austria’s ILF Consulting Engineers – Dubai branch to provide consultancy regarding the wastewater treatment facility in Deira Island.
The Austrian company will operate the construction works for the station which is estimated to be completed by the end of 2017, according to a recent statement.
The facility will be developed through two phases; the first phase covers 20,000 square meters daily from 2017 to 2022, while the second phase will include 17,000 square meters per day from 2022 to 2042.
It is noteworthy that Nakheel has awarded contracts worth an overall of AED 3 billion so far in Deira Island.
