Dubai – Mubasher: Nakheel has sealed a partnership agreement with Austria-based Vienna House, an independent hotel chain, to launch AED 587.67 million ($160 million) beachfront resort at Deira Islands.
Situated on 15.3 kilometres, the planned development, Vienna House Deira Beach, will comprise 600 rooms, according to a company statement.
“Our ongoing strategy is to being new, highly-reputable hospitality brands and concepts to Dubai as part of our commitment to supporting the government in realising its tourism vision,” Nakheel’s chairman Ali Rashid Lootah commented.
The deal was signed in a ceremony in Bangkok, the base of Vienna House’s parent company U City.
“Vienna House Deira Beach will offer quality leisure experiences that are designed to offer guests authentic moments and memories,” Vienna International Hotel management’s CEO Rupert Simoner said.
Vienna House owns 30 hotels across nine countries, with a total staff of around 2,400 people.
