Dubai – Mubasher: Dubai-based developer Nakheel has announced that its AED 800 million waterfront dining and entertainment destination on Palm Jumeirah, The Pointe, is nearing completion.
Situated on 1.4 million square feet and managed by Nakheel’s retail arm, Nakheel Malls, The Pointe is slated for inauguration in the fourth quarter of 2018, according to a company statement released on Tuesday.
“We are moving ever closer to opening one of the most eagerly-awaited destinations in Dubai. The Pointe is an iconic, must-see attraction offering remarkable lifestyle experiences for residents and tourists,” Nakheel’s chairman Ali Rashid Lootah commented.
The Pointe will comprise over 100 dining and retail outlets, along with 1.5 kilometres promenade and a car park for 1,600 vehicles, the UAE-based developer revealed.
“Inspired by the heritage and culture of the Emirates, it will be a stunning, vibrant and unique addition to Dubai’s dining, retail and entertainment scene,” Lootah said.
