Dubai-Mubasher: Nakheel said it outlined a management agreement with Thailand’s Minor Hotel Group for a 372-room hotel at Dubai’s largest themed mall.
The two firms signed a letter of intent to manage the hotel under the Avani Hotels & Resorts brand at Ibn Battuta Mall, according to a statement by the Dubai-based developer on Wednesday.
The 14-storey new hotel will be one of two Nakheel’s hotels at Ibn Battuta.
In September 2015, the two companies announced a planned joint venture for a 500-room Avani beachfront resort at Deira Islands.
As part of its expansion plan, Nakheel targets to establish 10 hotels, with around 4,000 rooms between them.
