Dubai-Mubasher: Dubai-based developer Nakheel awarded an AED 18.5 million contract to build new access roads at its Jumeirah Village Circle development.
UAE-based DX Contracting and National Gulf Construction have won the deal for the establishment of three new JVC/Hessa Street link roads as of February to be completed in Q3-16.
Around 20,000 people currently live in JVC, but this rapidly-growing mixed-use development will accommodate some 300,000 people when complete.
“The new road links will enhance JVC in both the short and long term by tackling the immediate needs of residents and addressing the future needs of the community as it expands,” said Nakheel spokesman.
