Riyadh - Mubasher: Nama Chemicals Company logged SAR 23.65 million ($6.30 million) net loss for the first quarter of 2016, a decline of 24% from SAR 31.15 million ($8.30 million) suffered in the same period a year earlier.
In a statement to Tadawul posted Wednesday, the company ascribed the improved results to a decrease in cost of feedstock, coupled with a rise in other revenues.
The company also cited an increase in cost of sales and marketing and a decline in sold quantities.
