Nama Chemicals widens losses in Q3

Riyadh - Mubasher: Nama Chemicals Company's net losses widened 36.14% to SAR 32.62 million ($8.7 million) in the third quarter of 2016 from SAR 23.96 million ($6.4 million) in Q3-15.

The company attributed the losses to the decrease in average sales prices by 22%, added to higher sales and marketing expenses, according to a bourse filing on Tuesday.

The Saudi-listed company's net losses increased 83.7% to SAR 89.41 million in the first nine months of 2016 compared to SAR 48.67 million in the year-ago period.

Revenues fell 12.22% to SAR 96.97 million in Q3-16 from SAR 110.47 million in Q3-15.
