Mubasher: National Petroleum Services (Napesco) achieved a surge of 65.1% in profits during the second quarter of 2018 compared to the same period in the previous year.
Earnings increased to KWD 2.84 million ($9.4 million) in Q2-18 from KWD 1.72 million ($5.7 million) in Q2-17, according to a bourse statement on Tuesday.
From January to June, Napesco reported an incline of 26.3% in profits to KWD 5.09 million from KWD 4.03 million in H1-17.
Napesco clarified that the growth in H1 profits is attributed to higher sales.
