Mubasher: Kuwait National Cinema earned KWD 2.38 million ($7.87 million) in the second quarter of 2016, down 9.5% year-on-year from KWD 2.63 million ($8.71 million), according to bourse filing.
During the first half, net profits declined 17.54% year-on-year to KWD 4.93 million from KWD 5.98 million.
The company attributed profit growth to operating income that decreased 20% to KWD 8.22 million in the first half compared to KWD 10.3 million in the first half of 2015.
In the first three month, the company gained KWD 2.56 million, up 23.6% from KWD 3.35 million for the year-ago quarter.
