Kuwait – Mubasher: National Industries Group Holding has signed, through a subsidiary, a conditional agreement with its partners to sell its 10.45% share in K-Electric company, which is currently the only vertically-integrated power utility in Pakistan.
The equity sale deal was in favor of Shanghai Electric Power Co, one of the largest Chinese companies in the energy sector, according to a bourse statement issued today.
The financial impact from this deal has not been determined yet, the statement added.
