Kuwait – Mubasher: National International Holding's net profits increased 36.5% year-on-year during the first quarter of 2017.
Net earnings reached KWD 372,200 ($1.2 million) in Q1-17 compared to KWD 272,600 ($893,500) in the corresponding period of the prior year.
Operational profits rose to KWD 381,040 from KWD 281,710 in Q1-16, according to a bourse statement on Wednesday.
During the fiscal year of 2016, earnings leapt 699.4% to reach KWD 2.52 million from about KWD 315,220 in FY15.
