Kuwait – Mubasher: National Investments Company is currently in negotiations with the parties involved in the acquisition of Kuwait Food – Americana, aiming to play a role in the takeover deal as an entity authorized by the Capital Markets Authority (CMA).
This statement followed the news broadcasted on an economic Arab channel on 22 September over a possible role for National Investments to be the representative for both the seller and the buyer in Americana’s takeover deal, according to a bourse statement issued Sunday.
