Riyadh – Mubasher: National Petrochemical Company reported on Thursday a net profit of SAR 178.3 million in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2014/15, a 7% drop compared to SAR 192.5 a year earlier.
Net profit came to SAR 906.6 million in 2015, versus SAR 774.5 million in 2014, rising 17%.
The company attributed the drop in Q4-15 to lower profit margin due to decreasing average selling prices.
On the other hand, the rise in annual profit was credited to the increasing quantity of sales and high profit margin in 2015.
