Riyadh – Mubasher: The nationalisation rate at Saudi private sector institutions rose to 21.54% in the third quarter (Q3) of 2020, compared with 20.40% in the year-ago quarter, revealed the Saudi National Observatory of Labor (NLO) on Sunday.
The number of privately-employed Saudis subscribing in the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) stood at 1.759 million persons by the end of Q3-20, of which male and female workers represented 66.74% and 33.26%, respectively.
When compared to the second quarter, the number increased by 81,430 persons.
Meanwhile, the Eastern Province topped regions in terms of the highest nationalisation rate at 25.16%, followed by Riyadh at 21.89%, Makkah at 21.47%, Al Madinah at 19.27%, and Asir at 17.85%.
The NLO is affiliated to the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF).
