Cairo – Mubasher: The New Administrative Capital Company is currently implementing 60,000 residential units in the new capital, in which more than 90% has been finalised, deputy chairman Mohamed Abdel Latif said in a speech during the fourth session of Builders of Egypt Forum on Sunday.
The company is also executing 250 to 300 kilometres of main roads, in addition to four tunnels and two bridges, he added, mentioning that about 70% of the roads have been built.
Natural gas has been delivered to some areas, the top official highlighted, noting that about 400 companies and 500,000 workers are working in the new capital.
The new capital’s mosque will be completed by Eid El-Fitr with a capacity of 25,000 prayers, the deputy chairman pointed out.
