Riyadh – Mubasher: The trial operation of the new King Abdulaziz International Airport will be in May 2018, the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) said.
The airport’s management and operation will be offered for companies over the coming period, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported, citing the GACA as saying.
On Wednesday, 21 February, the GACA terminated its contracts with Changi Airports International (CAI) and Saudi Naval Support Home for the operation and management of the new King Abdulaziz International Airport.
GACA's decision came after internal reviews for the contracts signed with the two companies.
