Mubasher: The Tokyo Stock Exchange’s (TSE) indices closed Wednesday, last session in 2015, in positive territory, as the Nikkei Index rose 0.27% to 19,034 points, hitting a three-day gaining run.
Nikkei’s total gains reached 9.1% in 2015, a year characterised by fluctuations specially the third quarter.
The broader Topix index leapt by 0.3% to 1,547.30 points, and the JPX-Nikkei Index 400 rose 0.2% to 13,951.93 points.
The Japanese market will be closed from Thursday till 3 January 2016.
