Dubai-Mubasher: Stocks tumbled on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Monday, following Wall Street’s plunge and the higher yen, sending the benchmark Nikkei average to a one-month closing low, below 19,000.
The TOPIX index lost 21.63 points, or 1.40%, to 1,527.88, after rising 9.16 points the previous market day.
JPX-Nikkei Index 400 moved 1.4% lower at 13,746.26.
