The value of shares bought by Non-Jordanian investments in Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) stood at JOD 500.1 million since the beginning of the year until the end of November 2015, said CEO Nader Azar.
This amount represented 18% of the overall trading value.
Azar said that the value of shares sold by Non-Jordanian amounted to JOD 501.7 million. Thus, the net of non-Jordanian investments showed a decrease of JOD 1.5 million, compared to an increase by JOD 22.2 million for the year 2014.
Non-Jordanian ownership in companies listed at the ASE accounted for 49.2% of the overall market capitalization at the end of November 2015, where Arab investors constituted 37.4%, and non-Arab investors formed 11.8% of the overall market capitalization of the ASE.
