Mubasher: Noor Financial Investment achieved a positive turn in financials during the fourth quarter of 2018 compared to the same period a year ago.
Earnings totalled KWD 16.27 million ($53.61 million) in Q4-18 against losses of KWD 1.75 million ($5.77 million) in Q4-17, according to a bourse disclosure on Tuesday.
During fiscal year 2018, Noor Financial recorded a leap of 774.9% in profits to KWD 24.83 million from KWD 2.84 million in FY17.
The board members of Noor Financial recommended distributing 5% of the capital as a cash dividend for FY18 or 5 fils per share at a total value of KWD 2.04 million.
