Mubasher: Noor Financial Investment has sold 3.03 million shares from its equity in Pakistan’s Meezan Bank at a total value of $1.83 million ($550,000).
The sold shares represent 0.28% of Meezan’s capital, according to a bourse statement on Tuesday.
Noor clarified that the financial impact of this transaction will be achieving net profits worth KWD 124,000 that will be registered in the income statements of the second quarter of 2018, in addition to increasing the shareholders’ equity rights by KWD 222,000.
At the stock level, Noor closed Tuesday’s session 1.42% lower at 48.7 fils.
