Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia-based Northern Region Cement Company announced inaugurating a production line for white cement at a total value of SAR 565 million, Al Eqtisadiah Newspaper reported.
Launching this new project comes in line with the kingdom’s plans for autarky in white cement, the general director of Northern Region Cement said.
The production line has been developed to produce up to 1,500 tonnes per day.
Nearly 40% of the domestic production will be exported as a surplus, as Saudi Arabia has consumed 600,000 tonnes of white cement in 2018.
