Cairo – Mubasher: Shares of Orascom Financial Holding (OFH) will begin trading on the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) under the symbol OFH.CA on Wednesday following the completion of the demerger of Orascom Investment Holding (OIH).
OIH’s financial services investments have been transferred to OFH which currently owns a minority stake in Sarwa Capital and a majority stake in Beltone Financial Holding, according to a bourse disclosure on Wednesday.
The technology-driven financial services investment company is planning to expand its investments into financial technology through new ventures and strategic partnerships.
On Tuesday, the EGX’s listing committee approved the listing of the shares of OFH with an authorised capital of EGP 8.13 billion and issued capital of EGP 1.62 billion.
