Mubasher: Oman Investment and Finance (OIFC) received a notification from Muscat Electricity Distribution Company (MEDC) to extend a contract for metre reading, billing, payment collection (MRBC) and deposit into bank account in the Muscat electricity governorate.
OIFC added that the contract expired on 31 May, 2016, and will be renewed for a further period of seven months starting from 1 June to 31 December, 2016, according to a bourse statement issued on Thursday.
This contract has a value of OMR 2.574 million ($6.65 million).
